Luckily, we have one of the top “up and coming” brunch spots in the city coming up first on our list. Start Fresh Kitchen is an award-winning kitchen that gives back to the community through non-profit programs and support for local farms. Open daily at 8 am, feel free to swing by and truly experience a farm-to-table experience.

The Bohemian

If you’re going out for breakfast and you want to stay close to the downtown core, you can’t go wrong with the Bohemian Cafe. This is one of the best restaurants in Kelowna and has done more than just last the test of the time, they have thrived. This restaurant is also known affectionately in Kelowna as “the Boh”. They make all their meals fresh, and the jam is sourced locally so be prepared to order a side of bread!

What’s a better way to finish off a day in the sun than to split a pizza between friends? Dunenzies Pizza makes a high quality, affordable pizza that’s well-cooked and available at a moment’s notice. This is a chain that was started in Kelowna and the name is especially unique because it was the two founders meshing their names together!

Kelly O Bryan’s

Feeling Irish? Then Kelly O Bryan’s Neighbourhood Restaurant is the spot to be. Their “pachos”; waffle fries with melted cheese and thousand island sauce on the side, are fantastic. And if you go there on your birthday you might be able to get more than just your meal is on the house. They have recently updated their second story patio and the view will have you people-watching while enjoying some sunshine!

Little Hobo Soup and Sandwich Shop

At lunchtime, few restaurants can do better than the Little Hobo Soup and Sandwich Shop. They have excellent meals that feel down-to-earth (like a mother’s cooking). One such meal is the macaroni and cheese that just beautifully melts in your mouth. The restaurant lives up to its name; it is little, it is inexpensive and if you blink and you’ll miss it, but trust us; you won’t want to miss this.

Raudz  Regional Table

Raudz Regional Table specializes in locally-sourced Pacific Northwest dishes. From the smoked Pacific salmon to the Butcher’s Cut they receive from the market, Raudz is proud of where it’s located and it is proud of how well it represents the cuisine of the area. Getting a table at this spot might be a little difficult as they don’t take reservations. So be sure to arrive a little early and get in line. This is truly one of the best restaurants in Kelowna and you’ll have a tough time finding a better dish than the RJB burger!
